The hospital has been designed specifically for patients with visual impairments; the layout, lighting and colours have all been carefully selected to make mobility around the hospital as easy as possible.
Patient Experience:
Cathem Eye Hospital aims to make the whole experience of visiting the hospital as pleasant as possible for patients. All our patients are met and personally escorted around the hospital during each stage of the visit, ensuring a high degree of personal attention and guidance at all times. By providing the patient with a high standard of care and attention and meeting all their needs where workable, we aim to make whole experience as pleasant as possible.
Pre Appointment:
Our customer service executive and hospital administrator are available 6 days a week to answer your calls, queries and to book appointments for you quickly and efficiently. If you wish to leave a message, we will return your call in a timely manner.
Pre Treatment:
On arrival at Cathem Eye Hospital, all our patients are personally guided through their visit, from reception to the examination room and the waiting area. Before an eye examination is undertaken, our specialist will explain the procedure to you very clearly, so that you know exactly what to expect.
Post Treatment:
Most of our patients are day cases, which means that patients are discharged from the hospital on the same day as treatment. Cathem Eye Hospital provides a comfortable and private recovery area where you can relax close to your family until you are ready to leave. In addition, Cathem provides a comprehensive follow-up program for patients, where necessary post surgery.
Overseas Patients:
Cathem Eye Hospital warmly welcomes all overseas patients and provides them with the highest standard of care in addition to assistance/guidance in booking appointments/travel/accommodation.
